The primary goal of the Titie II, Part D, Enhancing Education Through Technology grant is to improve student achievement in grades four through eight through the use of technology. Over $11 million is available throughout California, with over $1.6 million available to support local school districts and charter schools in assisting teachers and students in grades four through eight develop technology literacy and curriculum integration skills to prepare for sucessful living and working in the 21st century. Funding is based on $300 per eligible student at funded school sites.
