Farewell to Bill Robinson

It is with a heavy heart that RIMS CTAP bids goodbye to its regional director for the last ten years, Bill Robinson. Bill has taken a position as Senior Director of Education Technology for the San Diego County Office of Education. This is an exciting opportunity for Bill, and CTAP wishes him the best of luck in his new endeavor!

Dr. Gail M. Grant, former Associate Superintendent of Fontana Unified School District, is serving as the interim program manager for RIMS CTAP during the next several weeks. The position of CTAP Region 10 Director (Program Manager) is expected to be filled by the end of October.

CTAP Technology Leadership Network Meeting Schedule Announced!

Welcome to the new school year of 2008-2009. We invite you and your education team to attend this year’s series of the CTAP Technology Leadership Network (TLN) meetings!

For those of you who are new to our TLN membership, and for returning members, the meetings provide a networking forum for administrators, technology specialists, media specialists, curriculum leaders, and educators serving our RIMS region. Networking time, continental breakfast, and lunch is provided. Agendas address pertinent and relevant issues that support a stronger understanding of curriculum, networking, resources, and best practices. Our speakers provide expertise around 21st century topics such as:

2006-2007 EETT Formula Grant EOP Report Due!

The 2006-2007 EETT Formula Grant End of Period (EOP) Report is due to the CDE by September 12, 2008. The forms for these reports can be downloaded from ftp://ftp.cde.ca.gov/edtech/eop/.

RIMS CTAP website scheduled downtime
