Call for Student Projects

RIMS CTAP is seeking innovative student curriculum technology integration projects in Riverside, Inyo, Mono, and San Bernardino counties. Applications are now being accepted from educators to bring a group of five students to the 7th annual State Student Technology Showcase in Palm Springs on Saturday, March 6, 2010.

ARRA EETT-Competitive Application Announced

The California Department of Education (CDE) has posted the Request for Applications (RFA) for $33 million in new one-time grants as a result of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) of 2009.

These ARRA Enhancing Education Through Technology (EETT) Competitive grant awards will be identified through a competitive Request for Application (RFA) review process. Forty-one school districts and direct-funded charters in CTAP Region 10 are eligible to apply for approximately $5 million  in funding through this one-time federal program.

EETT Formula EOP Now Due

The 2007-08 Enhancing Education Through Technology (EETT) Formula Grant End of Expenditure Report (EOP) is due September 30, 2009. Filing the EOP will allow the CDE to release the final 15% of the grant award. Find out how to access the EOP form.

EETT ARRA (Stimulus) funds for 2009-2010

California schools are slated to receive $71.6 million in federal technology grants as part of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA), according to a press release issued by State Superintendent of Public Instruction Jack O'Connell.

The funding is part of the AARA, Enhancing Education Through Technology (EETT) Program. Eligibility for these funds follows the same criteria as the traditional EETT program, and the requirements for expenditure, including a minimum of 25% on professional development, follow traditional EETT guidelines as well.
