Student Technology Showcase

Call for Student Projects
The Student Technology Showcase is a joint effort of the California Department of Education (CDE), the California Technology Assistance Project (CTAP), and Computer-Using Educators (CUE). The goal is to inform parents, teachers, administrators, legislators, and representatives of higher education about curriculum-based student technology projects from Kindergarten through Grade 12. It provides a wonderful opportunity for students to receive recognition for their hard work and accomplishments. It also gives educators a forum to spotlight their groundbreaking instructional strategies that use technology to enhance student achievement and engagement.
Each selected project will have a display area and be given the opportunity to demonstrate their work in the areas of Web, video, multimedia, graphic art, sensor/probe data and analysis, animation, and other curriculum-enriching applications. Participating students will present their projects and facilitate a discussion of the project with guests.
Please join us in the effort to highlight the exemplary work of RIMS students and teachers by submitting an application or recommending a project. This will be a free event open to the public, community, educators, parents, and students.
